Dr. Reznik graduated first in her dental school class in 2005 and served as head resident during her orthodontic residency.
Two details in that table matter more than the rest. Graduating first in a dental school class is a four-year result rather than a single good exam, and being chosen as head resident is a judgment made by the faculty who watched her treat cases every day for two years. Neither is a marketing credential; both are decided by other people.

Approach to care
What draws Dr. Reznik to orthodontics is the part alongside the clinical work: patients finding their confidence in the middle of treatment, usually before the braces come off. She treats children, teenagers and adults with braces and clear aligners, at both offices.
What she treats
Dr. Reznik sees the full range at both offices: children coming in for a first check around age 7, teenagers in the years when most permanent teeth are in, and adults who either never had treatment or watched a result drift afterwards. Treatment is with braces, self-ligating brackets or clear aligners, and which one gets recommended follows the diagnosis rather than the appliance.
Digital scanning has replaced putty impressions at both offices, and three-dimensional imaging is used where a case genuinely calls for it rather than routinely. She treats those tools as the ordinary maintenance of a specialty that keeps changing, not as a headline.

She also carries a good share of the practice’s early-treatment work, which is the part of orthodontics that depends most on judgment rather than mechanics: deciding which seven year old genuinely benefits from starting now, and which one is better served by waiting and being watched. Most are better served by waiting, and telling a parent that is a large part of the job.
Outside the office
Dr. Megan Reznik and Dr. Derek Reznik are married and have three sons and a daughter, which means the household runs on the same school calendars, game nights and holiday weeks as most of the families in the chair.
Away from the practice she reads, works out, watches football and travels, usually somewhere with water.
Where she practices
Dr. Reznik treats patients at both the Odessa office on E 52nd St and the Midland office on the Loop 250 frontage, rotating between them with Dr. Derek Reznik. Both offices are open Monday through Thursday and share one patient record, so a patient who moves across the basin changes office rather than orthodontist.
